NZSU Pics of the Week 13 July 2014

Hi, I'm posting early this week as I'm off to Bangkok tomorrow morning at 6 am. I'm meeting up with my very dear Sister-in-law who is on her way back from an awesome 3 month trip  We are going to spend 6 days up there, maybe a little shopping etc.
Some of the projects created with the new products are fabulous, and it's wonderful to see there are many pages appearing using the new "Project Life",  I'm loving this catalogue.

Pics of the Week 6 July 2014

What an exciting week we've had with the release of the new Annual Catalogue. If you have had the time to order new products hopefully you will find an opportunity during the school holidays to start creating.
For those of you who have already held catalogue launches, I hope they have been a success for you.
Enjoy your week.

Pics of the Week 29 June 2014

Hello Fellow Stampers, I hope you have all had as wonderful a weekend as I have. I have spent the weekend in Christchurch with one of my sons and grandsons, the weather has been beautiful with crisp mornings and blue skies all day. It is so special to spend time with Hunter he is a beautiful 2 year old and I try to get down there to see him every couple of months.

This week we have a very special "Guest Designer" Angela Palmer's gorgeous 3 year old daughter, she is featured in our Pics this week.

Only 2 more "sleeps" until the new annual catalogue goes live, the new catalogue is fabulous and I love the new "In Colors" especially Blackberry Bliss as many of you do.

Have a special week with our new annual catalogue. Happy Stamping!

Pics of the Week 22 June 2014

I hope you have all had a great weekend. Many demos gathered yesterday for a Team Training day, there were about 58 attendees and it was a wonderful day. Many thanks to Jacque and her family, Emma and all the others who demonstrated and made up kits for us; Ria Kaire, Bernie Collins, Rachael Knight and Jackie Noble. It's great to get together and catch up with demo's we already know and meet new friends.
To the two Karens and Jenny whom I shared a table with; Thanks for your lovely friendly company yesterday.
Have a great week and happy crafting.

Pics of the Week 15 June 2014

With demos receiving their pre orders there has been a real buzz around this week, it's always great fun trying out new products that are about to be released. I have enjoyed putting together my first "Project Life" page and learning to use the blendabilities. There are many tips and ideas featuring the new products on Demo blogs, Pinterest and You tube.
I hope you all have a great week and have time to try out some new ideas.

I am waiting with eager anticipation for my pre order to arrive and can't wait to try the new "Blendabilities". I hope you have all had the opportunity to place a pre order and will be able to have some fun with the new products soon.

Have a great week.

Pics of the Week 25 May 2014

Welcome back to everyone who attended the "Stampin Up" Convention in Melbourne, it's clear from all the photos that have been posted you had a great time.

On Friday I returned from a fabulous family holiday in Hawaii and on Saturday morning I took a craft session at an 8 year old's birthday party, the children each made two projects, a post-it note holder with matching pen and a lovely birthday card.

I hope you all had time for a little crafting this weekend. Have a great week.

Pics of the Week 11 May 2014

Happy Mothers day to everyone. I've had a great day with family and friends. My husband cooked a beautiful brunch for 7 and then we all spent most of the day together. Fabulous weather topped the day off.

Next Sunday I will be AWOL as 10 of us are going on a 7 day family holiday, so please forgive the absence of a post from me next Sunday.

Many of you will be preparing to head off to Melbourne for Convention in the next week or so, I am so disappointed not to be able to attend this year. Have a fantastic time, you will come back full of enthusiasm and ideas. "Stampin' Up" sure knows how to run a convention!!

What a gorgeous weekend we've had here in Auckland. This morning we enjoyed brunch with a group of friends at the "Officers Mess" at Narrow Neck, what a fantastic view from this venue. I hope you all enjoyed your weekend as much as we have.

I was very excited to find out this week that we can order the new photopolymer stamps, I can't wait until my order arrives to try out this new and innovative product from Stampin' Up.

Pics of the Week 27 April 2014

What a busy fortnight it's been with so many holidays, lots of time for family and friends.
I went to the Dawn Parade in Papakura on Anzac morning with our eldest son and his family, and afterwards we hosted a breakfast for friends and family. It's great to see so many young folk attending Anzac Parades acknowledging the sacrifices made so we can all enjoy our freedom today.

Pics of the Week 30 March 2014

Hi Everyone, tomorrow is the last day of SAB, I hope you have all enjoyed this promotion as much as I have, some wonderful products on offer accompanied by some awsome freebies, what's not to like!!

Last night I had the pleasure of attending the SOL3 MIO concert at the Vector Arena, Wow, what a fabulous night, I am constantly amazed by the talent that New Zealand produces for such a small country. These young men are amazing, not only do they have the most beautiful and powerful voices they are talented and quick witted comedians, as well as being humble, respectful and thankful for all the help they have received.

Pics of the Week 23 March 2014

Earlier this evening I took the opportunity to join Jacque Williams' Webinar, what a great experience, so easy to participate and the content was extremely useful. I'll definitely make sure I register for the next one. Jacque does so well talking for an hour, at one point her poor voice showed signs of strain and as she pointed out the Auckland Extravaganza was yesterday which  also required a lot of talking. We're really lucky to have such a committed leader, Thank you Jacque - from your Team.
Have a good week everyone.

I hope everyone managed to enjoy their weekend despite the weather.  Excellent weather for staying indoors and crafting. I've been in Christchurch for the weekend visiting one of my sons and grandson, delightful in spite of the weather.
Congratulations to Alison Hyde's daughter Jessica, for winning first prize for her card at the Methven  show on the weekend. Here is her entry, the Owl photo in this week's Pics is also one of Jessica's.
Have a great week everyone.

Apologies to Rhonda

My apologies to Rhonda Fawcett, I made a big mistake when I posted the "Pics of the Week" on Sunday and listed the Knight card (below) as being created by Debbie Lamb instead of Rhonda.

Pics of the Week 9 Feb 2014

I hope you all enjoyed having an extra day off this week and it meant it eased the kids back into school with just a four day week.
I've often been in awe watching the Winter Olympics over the last few days, there seems to be a lot more risk involved in most of the events in comparison to the summer Olympics and the scenery is magnificent.
Have a good week everyone.

Pics of the Week 27 January 2014

I hope you have all enjoyed your weekend, here in Auckland we celebrate Anniversary day this Monday so we still have an extra day to enjoy.

This week I received a pre-order from "Stampin Up" which included Watercolor Wonder designer cards, I normally don't go for card kits, however these base cards are absolutely beautiful, (the card stock is fabulous quality), giving you the option to add embellishments, stamps or whatever else you might choose to add. There are 20 cards and envelopes in a pack for $27.95, making it very cost effective and could be a great way to introduce new stampers to card making.

Have a wonderful week and enjoy the last week of the school holidays, if you have children or grandchildren.

Sunday 19 January - Pics of the week delayed

We have been in Melbourne since Monday this week experiencing the extreme temperatures of up to 44 degrees, thank goodness for air conditioning! My husband, Brian has spent three days at the Australian Open as he has done for at least the last six years and luckily enjoys the hot weather.

I placed my pre-order before we left for Australia, so I can't wait to start trying out the new products, I have already seen some of the wonderful projects fellow demo's have created, it's always so exciting to get a new range of products.
Unfortunately the computer I'm using in Melbourne doesn't have a program to enable me to showcase the "Pics of the week" so I will post them on Tuesday 21st Jan my apologies for the delay.

Have a good week and hopefully find some time for crafting.
