NZSU Pics of the Week 22 Feb 2015

I hope you've all enjoyed your weekend, especially those of you who attended the Team Stamp Camp in Rotorua.
As we continue to enjoy our Summer, spare a thought for our fellow Stampin' Up Demo's in Queensland and the USA who are experiencing extremely harsh weather at the moment. If you follow any blogs/web sites in these parts of the world, send a wee message of support.
Have a wonderful week, Happy Stamping.

NZSU Pics of the Week 15 Feb 2015

Many of you will be looking forward to "Stamp Camp" next weekend; looking at the agenda I see that as usual it's going to be an exciting time for everyone.
Julia Leece has put a great spreadsheet on the forum to cover all the supplies that we would need to take if possible, don't forget to name everything you take and it's always a good idea to bring your checklist along so that you are sure to take everything home at the end of the weekend.
Looking forward to seeing many of you next weekend.

Have a wonderful week everyone.

NZSU Pics of the Week 11 January 2015

An exciting week for Stampin' Up demonstrators and customers, it's always a fabulous way to start the stamping year; Sale-A-Bration and the new "Occasions" Catalogue. Both these promotions have surpassed themselves again this year, I don't know how Stampin' Up keep doing it!

Have a fantastic inky week.

NZSU Pics of the Week 21 Dec 2014

I am writing this from Miranda park, which is about an hour south of Auckland.  Three of my Grandsons and I are spending 3 nights here before Christmas day, it gives their parents a break and hopefully gives the boys something else to focus on besides Christmas day and the thought of what presents they may be getting. So far today I have been beaten in trivial pursuit, connect four and dominoes.
I hope you are all nearly finished with your Christmas planning and ready to enjoy the Christmas and New Year holidays with family and friends.
I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all who have contributed to our NZSU Stampin' Up blog this year, it's a fabulous resource for many crafters.
I wish each of you and yours a great Christmas and a wonderful 2015.

NZSU Pics of the Week 14 Dec 2014

Oh oh!! only 11 Days to go I hope you're on the way to ticking off everything on your list. Last Night I was lucky enough to have the time to wrap most of my Christmas presents. I need to be organised, as will many of you as well, with the school holidays about to begin. I have 3 grandsons in Auckland that I care for after school and during the holidays and next Sunday I'm taking them away for 3 days before Christmas, it helps to keep them busy before the "Big Day"
In this weeks post I have included the work of a guest artist; "Miss 4 Year old Wong", check out her project in the centre of the 2nd Row.
Have a super week.

Hi, this week I have managed to write out all of my Christmas cards, make three notebooks and chocolate boxes for my grandsons teachers. I've also done quite a bit of Christmas shopping as well as shop for my husband and youngest son's birthday's which they both celebrate on the 9th December, all in all a busy, but very enjoyable week. I hope you are all enjoying the build up to Christmas without too much stress.
Have an awesome week.

NZSU Pics of the Week 30 Nov 2014

Only 25 days to go!! How did that happen? I've got the decorations out and will start putting the tree up and decorating tomorrow after I've picked my grandsons up from school, they love dressing the tree. I've made up the wee advent boxes for them, but I might have to buy some more chocolates to put in them tomorrow, it's just possible I may have eaten a few over the weekend, "oops!"

It is time to start asking if anyone would like to take on the administration of our NZSU blog next year, flick me an email if you're keen.

Have a fabulous week everyone.

NZSU Pics of the Week 23 Nov 2014

We've had a great weekend, our youngest grandson stayed with us for the weekend and some very dear friends joined us for a barbecue lunch today. I hope all of you also enjoyed your weekends.

In case you haven't read this article published on the Stampin Up' Demonstrator's site, I think it is worth a read, I'm a great advocate of the blendabilities (Luv them) if you've yet to get started with "blending" don't leave it any longer you're going to love it.

Stampin’ Blendabilities are designed to work with our Memento Ink Pad. The markers also work well with several of our Classic Stampin’ Pads, noted below. Keep in mind that colours not listed are prone to smearing and aren’t recommended for use with Stampin’ Blendabilities. Also, remember that you’ll get the best blending results using Whisper White Cardstock, and when the stamped image is completely dry.
Happy crafting.
Classic Stampin’ Pads:
Always Artichoke
Baked Brown Sugar
Blushing Bride
Calypso Coral
Coastal Cabana
Crisp Cantaloupe
Crumb Cake
Crushed Curry
Daffodil Delight
Garden Green
Hello Honey
Marina Mist
Melon Mambo
Lost Lagoon
Old Olive
Pear Pizzazz
Pink Pirouette
Pistachio Pudding
Pool Party
Pumpkin Pie
Sahara Sand
Smoky Slate
So Saffron
Soft Sky
Tangelo Twist
Tangerine Tango
Tempting Turquoise
Wild Wasabi
Wisteria Wonder

NZSU Pics of The Week 9 Nov 2014

Welcome to this week's post, I would like to start with extending our deepest Sympathies to Emma, our NZ Manager and her family for the tragic loss of her Nephew,  Luke last weekend.

A huge "Thumbs Up" to Sharlene Meyer for her outstanding article in the latest edition of our Stampin' Up "Impressions" magazine.

When you read this post I will be on the high seas taking a cruise with my dear husband. It is our anniversary in November and because he doesn't take enough time away from work, I booked this wee holiday as a surprise for him. We flew to Sydney on Friday afternoon (He still didn't know where were going) and boarded the cruise ship on Saturday. We return to Sydney on Saturday 15th Nov and fly home later in the day. I have our laptop with us so hopefully I will be able to keep up with all your blogs through the week.

NZSU Pics of the Week 2 November 2014

Only 7 weeks until Christmas, have you started your stack of Christmas cards yet? On Fridays I have lunch with a group of friends and every year I give each of them a pack of Christmas cards and as most of them are sent overseas they have to be ready for posting in November so I've been creating Christmas cards for some time already.
I hope that everyone had a wonderful time yesterday at the Christchurch "Party Time" we've already seen some of the beautiful projects on your blogs.
Enjoy your week, happy stamping.

NZSU Pics of the Week 19 Oct 2014

Well I'm still in Melbourne, I was booked to return to NZ yesterday, however as my brother-in-law still needs help caring for my sister this week I will be heading home next Saturday.
This morning I watched Shelli's video on our Demo site regarding yet to be announced major changes to the career plan, these changes will be announced gradually on a Monday and or Tuesday between now and January 2015. There has been a team working on the changes for some time now, so it will be exciting to hear what they have worked out.
Have an awesome week, hopefully managing some crafting.

NZSU Pics of the Week 12 October 2014

Good afternoon, I hope you have all had a good week, I have been visiting with my sister and her family in Melbourne this week and will return to NZ next Saturday. I have spent a good deal of my time here making Christmas cards for her to send to her many friends and relatives. I've been using my blendabilities to colour images which I have throughly enjoyed, I find colouring and shading to be a very relaxing way to craft.
Have a great week.
